MINDSET

The Strong and The Weak

To define onesself as strong:

• Being Strong is a mindset. Anyone can be strong.

• The will to take responsibility and accept the consequences for one’s own actions or in-actions

• The ability to accept failure, adjust and move on

• The will to be productive, to create for one’s self and others

• The ability to look and focus internally as well as externally.

• The will to rely on onesself before relying on others.

• Takes stock in being an individual

• The strong individual can create their own opinion.

• Leads by example

Being weak is a mindset. The opposite of strong. One not aspiring to be strong is weak.

OBSERVATIONS

• Volatility enables change. Volatility can occur coincidentally. Volatility can be by design.

• Volatility will always be exploited for gain. One must be prepared.

• The pursuit of a utopian-like fairness only serves to make things unfair

• Do whatever it takes to stay in the “game”

• Someone is always trying to sell you something

• Things take time

• Achievement lies in the balance between natural ability and time invested.

• Accept the reality of time.

• live life with love

• Proactive instead of reactive

• be aware of your surroundings

• Help yourself to help others

• The absence of conflict is the absence of love

• The absence of pride is the absence of spirit

• Technological advancements must not hinder the physiological and psychological needs of mankind

• To train the body is to sharpen the mind.

• To train the mind is to prepare the body.

• Today can always be the first day of the rest of your life.

• Nurture meaningful relationships in the physical world.

• One must Consciously balance their life between the digital and physical world.

THOUGHTS: The Strong and the weak

• To be strong is to stand in the light. To be weak is to rest in the shadows

• To be strong is to sit at the front. To be weak is to rest at the back.

• To be strong is to take pride. To be weak is to act with no sense of pride

• Taking from the strong and giving to the weak is a destructive cycle which ultimately leads to extinction.

• The weak will seek to manipulate the strong to enable the weak.

• The strong must enable/enforce the weak to help themselves

• The weak define equality in terms of material worth.

• The strong understand equality in terms of freedom of choice

• The strong are a living example of their ideology

• The weak can exist if they accept the strong and vice versa

FUNDAMENTAL

• Woke = Weak

• Woke is weak while one according to wokeness is entitled.

ENTITLEMENT

• Entitlement is not conducive to a strong individual.

• One’s will to advance entitlement is driven by their own inadequacy.

• The energy spent trying to advance entitlement is misplaced.

• This energy could be redirected internally towards personal improvement.

• The strong will forge their way with or without entitlement.

DIVERSITY

• Diversity is only relevant to the mind and character

• Diverse Characters and minds compliment the group

• Diversity of culture and skin colour are irrelevant in the pursuit for satisfaction

YOUR RIGHTS

• You have none other than those you choose to bestow upon yourself and others

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Determination, dedication, Discipline, suffering and following one`s heart are the only qualities required for satisfaction.

• Respect the respectful, Respect those who stand up to disrespect, question those who define respect

• Create for yourself and subsequently for others.

• Defeat and loss are essential.

• Material wealth for its own sake is worth nothing.

• Take time to stop and think

• When it is too good for too long it is bad

• To embrace suffering is to embrace life

• Help yourself to help others

• Will form their own opinion

THE GROUP

• Individuals create a group

• A group benefits the individual

Modern definition of extreme: An individual opinion

I have fond memories of my grandparents. Looking back now I believe I realized then as I still believe now that they were special, kind, warm, loving and english. I say special because as I got a bit older I understood that when they were gone I would never know the likes of them again with the only exception being my parents. Even though we lived far away from one another I’m very thankful we were able to make it back to see them every few years. They even made it “down under” a few times.

My memories from England:

• Staying the weekend with the grandparents.

• Learning to swim at an indoor swimming pool and finding it very daunting.

• Learning to ride a bike in the school car park

• Birthday party at a Dickens soft play area.

• Watching first live football match

• Playing cowboys and Indians at school

• Playing marbles at school, got upset when I lost a big “steely”

• Leaving for “down under”

• Going to local hockey club

• Going to pubs, we used to love Scampi fries, crisps, bacon fries

• Reckoned I could see Maleficent from sleeping beauty in me curtains at night

• Going to the country, staying at the “cottage”

• Football

• Visiting my Uncle who lived a few hours away. He always had the latest gadgets coming out at the time: Computers, Sega etc. He had no kids of his own at the time so he spoiled my brothers and I.

• English treats: Crisps, chocolate, sweets etc

• Receiving first football strip/kit as a birthday present

Although leaving England at 6, I believe I have been back at least once every two years since leaving. The last time I was in England was February 2020. England has a unique feeling and beauty to it. She can seem downright depressing with her rows of identical houses, more often than not over cast weather, and area’s devoid of hope. However if you find yourself there on a nice day in any number of the settings unique only to England, there’s nothing else quite like it.

I believe belonging to a nation is important. I believe in nationalism. Belonging to a society sharing and believing in the same history, culture and traditions. And within that nation many communities unique in their own healthy way but undeniably united by the national spirit. Whether you were born there, are the umpteen generation or migrate is irrelevant. I believe if you identify with and take part in that nation’s beliefs, laws, values and traditions, you will be provided with a sense of belonging and orientation that should see you through life. In my opinion, England has, as have all western countries now, deviated from all aspects of nationalism beyond the point of no return. Why? How could one find this desirable?

I have been frustrated for quite some time. I first felt this frustration as a young adult. This frustration led me to migrate to a foreign country. The frustration subsided only to return once again as my understanding of the native language improved. My conclusion: one must confront their grievances no matter where one resides.

Purpose

Before I continue, a few points in regards to the purpose of this blog:

• Log my reading, watching, listening and generals thoughts. Not unlike a journal.

• Interaction with like minded individuals with the intent to learn.

• Expression of thoughts regarding historic and current aspects of western society that interest me.

• Critical thoughts / essays on the biggest current factors affecting western society today with particular focus on factors affecting liberty and individualism.

• Introduce Gen Y readers to factors affecting them previously unconsidered and hopefully offer insightful perspectives.

• Pose questions in order to hopefully receive answers / discussion.

• Would like to learn / garner new perspective from informed individuals

Orwell

The name Blog84 pays homage to George Orwell`s book, “1984”. If you haven`t read it, I recommend reading it asap. The picture Orwell portrays of the world in “1984” seemed rather unbelivable at the time I read it well over 15 years ago. However as time goes on I find myself thinking more and more that we now live in a world similar to “1984”. I admire Orwells creativity in how he went about presenting his take on things. Of course “1984” wasn`t his only insightful book. I am intentionally not elaborating on Orwells work here in the hope that the uninformed reader will go look, listen and read for themselves. In contemplating people like Orwell I ponder where are the likes of his ilk today? They are surely out there.

Begin

I am aprehensive but more so motivated to write this blog. My frustrations have led me here. Here I will endeavour to exercise my frustrations in a theraputic and productive manner. These posts will be kept as simple and to the point as possible. I will start from the begining…………….
